ELECTRICITY

Has only been on the island for the last four years.  There is a main generator on the island - service is occasionally interrupted and when the power goes out IT GOES OUT........when the island is very busy sometimes the island generator cannot cope with the spike of usage.....one of the joys of being on a remote island with beachpaths and no transportaion.  We do not have a generator on the property - and make no apologies if the power goes out -THAT IS ALL PART OF ISLAND LIFE.  If your holiday is booked and it is to revolve around fresh water and power and you are going to get upset if the power goes out please do not think about making a booking at any of the 3 Islands as service is not guaranteed... GILI MENO is is a very much grassroots stage with very little development......embrace simplicity as there are few places in the world that are easy to access.....where you can still have a remote experience without having to travel very far away from civilization.

WATER

There is no fresh water supply on Gili Meno. 

All water has to be privately bought to the island  and is delivered by small fishing boat from Lombok. 

In the unlikely event the water cannot timeously be delivered the guest will need to use the well water.  Delays can be due to tides being to low for the delivery boat to get over the reef or the seas being too rough and dangerous for the boatmen to deliver.
